Carol’s Quilt Shop sits in Deltona, Florida, in the southwestern corner of Volusia County. We are a short drive from Orange City and DeBary, with easy access to I-4. Our aim is to provide you with quality fabrics, patterns, and tools so that you can make beautiful quilts. We offer quilting services to help you finish more quilts. We also provide machine services to keep you stitching.

About Carol

Carol’s fascination with fabric started at a young age. She went from designing clothes for her Barbies to studying fashion and costume design in high school and college. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts, focusing on technical theatre. Carol’s quilting journey began when she inherited an unfinished quilt. While finishing that first quilt, she found that the hobby is, indeed, quite addictive (in the best ways). One quilt has turned into many quilts and quilted items. Some of her work has been displayed in museums, appeared in magazines, and even won ribbons at county and state fairs.

About Spike

From childhood, Spike was fascinated by how appliances and engines worked. After serving in the US Army as a helicopter mechanic and flight engineer, he had a distinguished career in Information Technology. His exploration of machines and how they work has been a lifelong adventure. His curiosity has led him to explore everything from small engines and cars to helicopters and the cutting-edge technology of Silicon Valley. Spike began his journey with sewing machines when Carol let him “play” with a vintage Singer 301 she found at Goodwill for $25.
